Equinox Sun

The equinox sun starts to glimmer
In the distant horizon, the september air
Is wafted over by the morning breeze
The air fills my lungs, the scents fill me
Fresh dew dripping on the wet soil, the flowers
The scent of the flowers wants through the twilight
Among them, is a scent I know, I love, I sense

The scent of a woman; radiant as the sun
Mysterious as the twilight that shroud it
The woman I love the most, my heart craves for
I wake up from my slumber as the scent
Fills my mind, body, soul & heart
I gaze into the twilight searching
Then, my gaze is met by another

The gaze makes me feel blessed
Blessed by the goddess of love
Shining brightest in the morning sky
The stars seeming pale in her brilliance
The goddess of love shows me the one
Venus shows & guides us to each other
Where our eyes meet, glimmering like the stars above

The gaze is held until it can be held
The cool air hits us like cupid's arrows
And I fall deeper in love, in her love
And my heart being pure, is loved
Then happens the union, of hearts and souls
Under the stars, we make love
Love in its deepest & purest form and we are one...

Raindrops In The Night

The words drop from her lips
Nourishing the seed of love
Sown by the two souls
In the parched soil of his heart
Like raindrops from the night sky

Adding to his strength, her strength
To his happiness, her happiness
To his heart, her love
The souls falling onto each other
Like raindrops from the night sky

When they touch, it seems
Like a thunder running across them
Like a cool chill, a fiery drop
Mingling the souls and the hearts
Like earth and raindrops from the night sky

With their fingers intertwined,
Hand in hand, they build
A world which didn’t exist
A world which is nourished by
Raindrops from the night sky..

Like a breath of fresh air filling the lungs
The love fills their hearts
The love & the souls, seemingly immortal
As if they consumed the waters of immortality
Of the raindrops from the night sky

As the love grows beyond the bounds
Almost unreachable, totally unbearable
It gives him immense strength & courage
And he touches his lips to hers
With the blessings of raindrops from the night sky…

My First Kiss

Into her eyes I looked, not believing
I was puzzled, amazed, surprised
The words of love and faith fell
Pleasantly soothing my ears
Comforting and uplifting my heart
The warmth reaching my soul
The eyes conforming the truth

I was struck, again by the thunder
I felt the same as when I saw her
The awe, the happiness, the butterflies
I travelled back in time and time froze
There was no world, nothing
There was no one, there was nowhere
Nothing mattered, nothing existed

I looked at her and gazed silently
At the strands of her hair on her face
At the green eyes looking into mine
At the hands reaching for mine
At the fingers tickling mine
At the lips which just said the words
At the lips I so longed to kiss

I looked and gazed for an eternity
Till I plucked up the courage, till
The moment was right, the second
I came closer and smelt her hair
And blood rushed through my veins
It raced across my body when
I could feel her breath on my lips

My breath became shallow, I, breathless
My heart seemed to beat out and pumped
Emotions mingled with blood
Sent them racing and raging through me
I could not stop it, I could not
There was no sense of world
Except her eyes and her lips

I knew it was then, I knew it was it
I closed my eyes and I felt, my lips
I felt my lips and hers become one
With the stars watching over
My first kiss with a burning happiness
I opened my eyes and it was
Not a dream, it was true
Time froze as I felt lost
We were lost, in each other
In each other’s’ embrace
Time froze and the earth stopped
I felt a piece of heaven and I
Stepped back, to look into her eyes
Still feeling my first kiss..

Midnight's Dream

Underneath the starry sky, I sleep
The pleasant breeze, a respite
On the soft grass, I sleep
The blades tickle and prick
I lie thus, dreaming in blissful oblivion
I dream, of things unintelligible
Into the world of dreams, I sleep

I see an angel, gliding gracefully
Dressed in a skirt that billows out
The angel come and touches me
She places a hand and I wake
I look into her eyes, amazed
Awestruck by the beauty and the power
Stunned by the light and the power

I take her hand and she sits
I look into her eyes, unnerved
I’m exhausted and I lie in her lap
Her dress feels warm and safe
She bends; her soft hair shields the world
It tickles my eyes, adds to the fatigue
And I sleep, peaceful and safe…

Shooting Star

It was a night like no other,
And yet, it was like any other.
My heart was beating, pounding.
My soul was screaming, pounding,

On the doors of love.
Like a flying dove,
Going to nest it's mate,
I was going to my soul-mate..

Surrounded and hidden by trees,
Soothed and comforted by a calm breeze..
The skies filled with stars,
Burning and raging like wars..

When I touched you, I knew
My soul-mate can be only you..
And then comes a sign from the above,
A sign of love, a star from above..

The star flies across the skies,
Freeing the butterflies into the skies..
You look at me and ask
'Of the shooting star, what do you ask?'

I look at the stars full of rage,
And then I say, 'I ask for courage"..
To confess my love, which is so much.
And to make our lips touch...

Twilight

This poem was inspired by another poem, written by my friend Abdul.

As the sun seems destined for a quiet sunset,
And my thoughts float away into the fiery sky,
Beyond the reaches of the world,
Beyond the reaches of my worries..
This is when I feel you in my arms..
I feel you leaning onto my shoulder.
I feel my heart beat in your breath.
The cool wind awakens me,
And I see myself lost in the twilight.
I see myself lost in your love.

Then I see you flying away in the fading twilight...
I chase you in search for your love,
In the twilight that leads to darkness.
I search for your love in the darkness.
Under the starlight, I reach out,
To touch you, to hold your hand.
But it's nowhere to be found..
I hear you, I try to feel a touch.
And it's gone, you are gone..
In the twilight and I've lost your love.
I'm lost in the twilight of life.

I'll greet with open arms...

With tears in my eyes,
With pain in my heart,
With a void in my soul,
I wait, I silently wait.

With a hunger in my body,
With a craving in my mind,
With lust flowing in my veins,
I wait, with the hunger increasing, I wait.

With a thirst on my parched tongue,
With a burning desire for my corpse,
With a fire burning my insides,
I wait, I wait for the boatman.

I wait for the blood to flow.
I wait for my soul to drain.
I wait for my heart to stop.
I wait for my lust to be satisfied.

The love-less life is not a living.
The lifeless existence holds no appeal.
The soul-less life has no meaning.
The end of it, the after life is awe-inspiring.

I wish for my veins to be slit open.
I wish for my mind to be shut down.
I wish for my breath to stop.
I wish and pray to the boatman.

The boatman, the grim-reaper, the harbinger
Of death and doom, I wait for.
I wait for a knock on my door.
I wait grimly for a sign from hell.

My love, when that moment comes,
When death knocks our door,
You hide and I'll protect you.
I'll greet him with open arms...
